8/10: I was surprised how much I liked these. My main issue with chocolate chip cookies is that the base is flavorless and each bite is a contest to see how many chocolate chips you can get–not so with these. The base of the cookie had a delicious vanilla-sugar flavor that made me completely forget about the chocolate chips. These are crispy whereas I prefer chewy, but they did melt in my mouth which was a welcomed surprise. There wasn’t an overwhelmingly coffee flavor to these, but the chocolate was better accentuated.
