9/10: If original can be called simple, then this is simplicity at its best; “hot” does not do this hot sauce justice. The habaneros were absolutely potent in their flavor. And I loved the mellow, subtle sweetness from carrots to balance that out and thicken it up. After a few bites, I’m afraid I may have stopped “tasting” this because my mouth was so hot. The fact that this was made with small farm, organic ingredients also meant a lot to me. This is a hot sauce I would like to see much more widely available than it is; I hope it could hit retail shelves half as much as it hit my taste buds.
