8/10: Normally, eating almond butter can be a huge departure from peanut butter, not just in terms of allergies but flavor and texture as well. What I liked most about Barney Butter was the texture, which was much closer to shelf stable peanut butter than any other brand I’ve had. This was perfectly smooth and homogenized(naturally). The flavor was decent–certainly almondy. I thought it could definitely do without the addition of sugar AND sea salt; the touch of salt would have been perfect enough.
