8/10: Dark chocolate and almonds are two bitter flavors that are amazing whey blend together. Unfortunately, here I felt like the “blending” was at a minimum. They needed something to really draw them together; perhaps a touch of sea salt? Whatever it may be, that part of these did not work for me. What did work for me was how generous the almonds were in size. I also appreciated that these are organic and vegan; the only product I can find that comes close to being like these are sweetened even with sucralose so these are a huge improvement. They aren’t my favorite but I might gladly serve these at a party with a good conscience and a sweet tooth.
