Fig And Almond Blondies
Fig And Almond Blondies(adapted from an adaptation from veggie girl)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 6 tablespoons(about 1/3 cup) honey
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 1/4 white whole wheat flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 5 ounces fresh figs, diced
- 2 ounces slivered almonds, toasted
Preheat your oven to 350. In a large bowl, mix together the first 5 ingredients. Sift in the flout, baking soda, and salt. Add in the dates and almonds and mix until well incorporated. Pour into an 8 x 8 baking pan and bake until golden, about 35-38 minutes.
