New York Pizza

New York Pizza

8/10: It’s hard to find pizza-flavored things that aren’t–well–pizza. By that alone these are appealing in their uniqueness. Right of the bat, I noticed they weren’t what I was “expecting”; I was expecting something a bit herby with a mild mozzarella to it. This is very tomato, slightly sharp, and has a bit of a kick from some paprika and pepper flakes. It’s not the direction I would have liked to see this go, but I’m glad it took a direction and went full throttle. The texture’s nice and crunchy and the nutrition is as good as you’ll get in a snack chip. These are one snack that can be enjoyed with or without the pizza pie.

Actually you could buy sweet potatoes and the nutrition of that snack chip would be amazing! But I agree, other than sweet potato chips, these are pretty “safe”. Thanks for the review. I would have expected a more herb flavor too, that’s sort of disappointing, but I guess it’s safe on the breath 🙂
