Omega Square

Omega Square

8.5/10: Along with scientists, Xocai has taken notice of the lack of the inbalance of Omega-3’s in the American’s diet. And they’ve made an effort to fight that with the one thing they know American’s will eat: chocolate. 3 squares of Omega Xocai have 200mg Omega-3, just unnoticeabley shy of the daily recommended value. Right away, I noticed no “fishy” taste as often is the case of Omega-3 supplements, but rather a citrus tone. I wasn’t too shocked to find orange peel as the ingredient after chocolate. The texture was nice and tough but a bit lumpy oddly enough which I later found to be flax seeds. In summary, I really enjoyed this, and it was definitely one of the more pleasurable ways to eat omega-3’s if fish aren’t your cup of tea; what would make it better though is if each square had more omega-3’s, the chocolate was more clearly advertised as an orange-dark chocolate, and the whole flax seeds were foresaken.
