Dark Cacao Raw Truffles

9/10: “Decadent” and “rich” don’t quite do these justice; I think the word “artisan” is most definitely applicable and needed. The cacao butter makes them so smooth and deep in flavor. These are as if the cacao seed is completely torn apart and then recomposed in a more perfect form. That being said, I don’t think the dusting of these in either date sugar or cocoa powder was necessary or very powerful. I’d rather see something else doing something for the flavor.
