7/10: This Al Fresco sausage admittedly had little to nothing going for it in the flavor department. It need more herbs; it needed more salt; it needed more something! That being said, it was very good for a plain sausage. And the sauce in any Italian dish you could think to put this in would certainly enhance this. Just make sure that if you’re looking for something special, it’s going to have to come from something else on the plate.
