Agave Ginger Cashews

Agave Ginger Cashews

9/10: So often, people try to flavor a nut and fail; I’m afraid you can only squeeze so much on the tiny surface area. I was pleasantly surprised that that was not the case with these; the ginger flavor was unreal! Really, it was spicy and sweet, and the cashews were the perfect dulling flavor to make sure it wasn’t all too much. I think the agave is a great sweetener since it’s neutral, powerful, and keeps these a vegan treat. Big on flavor, yet small on sugar–just the way any glazed nuts should be.
