7/10: As a maple lover, this one was a bit of a disappointment. It simply didn’t have enough maple flavor; how could it with only 3g of sugar per serving? Maple syrup is all about decadence in an overabundance of sugar. But as someone who’s been iffy about cashew butter, this was a magnificent rendition of it. To me, cashew butter has always been somewhat savory but paired with sweet items. The maple sugar flavored it just right to make this a tasty, sweet nut butter that also had a great richness to it. While it wasn’t incredibly maple flavored, this just might convert any nut butter fan over to cashews.
